Relic & Vortex: The Fusion of Sith Ancestry with Cyberpunk in The Acolyte

I'm excited to share a fanart inspired by the series The Acolyte from the Star Wars universe, where I explored a unique lightsaber design!
I imagined what a pair of Sith lightsabers with a cyberpunk aesthetic would look like: They emit the iconic red Sith glow and the hilt is made of dark metal, engraved with Sith code inscriptions, giving it an ancient and ominous feel. The pommel is made of ancient ivory, carved with Sith inscriptions, reinforcing the connection to the galaxy's ancestry. Additionally, the light-emitting crystal is exposed, protected only by reinforced glass, challenging the classic concepts of traditional lightsabers. The blades themselves are unstable, crackling as if short-circuiting, alluding to the volatile and unpredictable nature of their wielder. To intensify the cyberpunk style, I added a tech brass knuckle with sharp blades, ready for close combat.
This pair of lightsabers, which I named Relic and Vortex, symbolizes the fusion of the old with the new. Relic carries the weight of an ancient Sith artifact, imbued with the darkness and power of the past. Vortex represents violent and unpredictable force, a technological storm that consumes everything around it. Together, they capture the essence of a Sith warrior who masters both ancient arts and modern brutality.
The goal was to imagine how these characteristics could coexist within the atmosphere of The Acolyte, blending tradition, modernity, and aggression into a single weapon. I hope you enjoy this vision and that it sparks new ideas for the vast Star Wars universe!
